Sweet Peas....

Edit: And here I thought I was still fun. :)...........

I miss all the fun of your blog.
Hope you are getting spring chores accomplished.

Hey everyone. I have a pretty card to show you today from my Papertrey creations this month. This card was created with Nichole's new Flowers of the Month: Sweet Peas stamp set. I stamped only a portion of the sweet peas image so that the focal point of the flowers is to the left, which left room for a pretty sentiment. I colored the images with my oh so awesome Copic Sketch markers, just perfect for Nichole's new flower sets.
The bottom of the card is embellished with scallops cut from Papertrey's scallop dies along with a pretty Wrinkle Ribbon from my Etsy shop. I tied a small shipping tag with the sentiment sweet peas onto the Wrinkle Ribbon along with a Vintage Button.
Hope you enjoy! I'm off to the girls' second track meet this week so gotta run.

I have to admit, I am not a purple fan but this card is making me rethink my position. The card is sweet, feminine and light. Pretty much purple perfection.

This is a lovely card. Isn't the softness of the seam binding wonderful. It makes is so easy to add extras to the bow. I just did something similar with my bow last night.

Michelle your card is stunning as always. Please do not take to heart the anonymous comment - they couldnt even leave their name! Im in the UK and look at your blog most days, I love your style and your chit chat. I have a blog too, cardsbyjulie.blogspot.com and have been trying to post a card a day. I have managed 15 weeks so far - but it is hard work so I really appreciate that you need time away, to step back and enjoy your family.
Every post you do is a bonus when you share your beautiful cards.
take good care of yourself.

Hiya Mish,

Don't take that comment to heart, I don't comment too often but you are one of just a few that I check in with when I can...Truth be told, I wished I could create as much as you do but always seem to be rushing last minute to do my cards! Yes, we do miss the daily blogs but family is much more important. You too need time for yourself. So don't fret about that comment, just join us when you can.

Take care,
Deirdre

I'm really not a purple fan, but this is very pretty. I'm sure anonymous just mean't he/she missed you. (It might have been snarky...but who knows and I rather believe in the good). When I was first blogging, I didn't know how to leave a comment except for choosing the anonymous route.

I still think you're a fun girl, Mish. I think people are still trying to recover from your 6 day absence! ;-) I know it took me awhile but I'm better now! (PS DON'T ever do that again. You had me worried half to death!!)
