sweet

I have another Valentine card today to show you using Karen Lockhart's new Cupcake with Sprinkles stamp. I used more papers from Making Memories for the base of my card and for the main image focal piece. I colored my cupcake with Copic Sketch markers, using the gray (t) colors to tone down the brown on the cupcake liner. I glittered the hearts on the cupcakes too.
The inside of my card is embellished with scraps of the patterned paper and a Valentine sentiment from Papertrey Ink.
Below are the Copic colors that I used for the cupcake image:
February will be here before we know it. Do you have any special plans for Valentine's Day this year? I'm looking for fun ideas for a family night......a special dinner menu, maybe some games and little gifts. I would love to hear of any special traditions or fun new ideas you have.

Love your card and envelope! Such great ideas.
Good luck at the dentist. I don't like the dentist myself and try not to go if at all possible.

Cute card as always! I hope your dentist appointment is painless:) I'm actually surprised that you will be able to make it to the dentist- you must have been too far south for the 3rd blizzard that went through Iowa yesterday. We still aren't moving very fast here. Take care.

What about giving little gifts each day leading up to the 14th with little notes? Just had your turkey bacon rollups. Couldn't find anything but regular flour tortillas but oh my gosh....delish!!!

Adorable card. The envelope is as cute as the card! No special valentine traditions here. Just me and the cat. Pathetic, eh? HA! At least it's a cute cat! According to my calculations you are now sitting in the dentist's chair. Ohhhh...hope it's not too horrible!

I am in my mid 70's and one of the ways we celebrated Valentine's Day as a child was a little unique to my family. My Mom always either made or purchased valentines and put them under our dinner plate. We weren't allowed to peek until everyone had eaten. The anticipation was as much fun as actually opening it.

Super cute! I just love your stuff!

As for V day traditions? I'm making heart shaped pancakes for breakfast. That's about as creative as I've gotten. My kids are just getting old enough to do more so I'll start having to think of more ideas soon.

Oye, the dentist! I hear ya! Hubby and I celebrating our 21st anniversary on Feb 18th, so we usually combine the two (Anniversary and Valentine's) into a lovely date. I haven't decided what I want to do this year. Last year we spent 2, TWO whole weeks in Maui without children. That will never be topped. I'm thinking dinner and movie.
