Springtime chair

Edit: Thanks for the Spring wishes everyone! It can't come soon enough, I think most of us are ready for some new weather. Many of you have been asking for more Butterfly Parcel kits, should I make a new batch???? Just leave a comment on this post. Also, new uploads to my Etsy Shop today, link on the left sidebar. Hope you're all having a great day. I'm digging into the freezer today to bake up one of my meals I made last week. Tonight it's Tater Tot Casserole.

Even though I'm stuck inside sitting in my big comfy, green chair because the weather is still freezing....I'm longing to sit outside in my wicker chair and look at my pretty flowers, with the sun shining on my face. Karen Lockhart's wicker chair stamp makes me think of those fun times.
I stamped the image and colored it with Copic markers. I paper pieced the purple cushions using Papertrey's Egg Hunt paper. The punched flowers and background papers are also from the Egg Hunt collection. The *sit back and relax* sentiment is from Karen Lockhart's collection.
So, are you longing to be outside with your flowers too? Somebody send me some sunshine and warm weather!

I love wicker chairs on a porch, I am longing for spring, it can't get here fast enough! If I didn't have this hobby, I would lose my mind (or be on prozac anyway). Thanks for the spring inspiration!

Love the wicker ! We had some real 1920's era rockers, when I was a teen. Wonder what happened to those beauties ! Thanks for the Spring inspiration. Here is some sun from our early Spring here in Western WA state - our daffodils are up, flowering trees in bloom.

I'm deep in the heart of Texas, and I still can't send you any warm weather. It's been snowing here all day! This is the most snow and cold weather I have ever seen since I moved to Texas over 20 years ago. Al Gore is either a moron or a con artist. The jury is still out.

Very pretty! Love that paper and the stamps! Girl, I sure wish I had some sunshine to share. I am here in Iowa and it is so cold today. Our high tomorrow is only going to be 14. BRR!

Up here on Vancouver Island we are enjoying a rather wet day but this past weekend we had sunshine. My snow drops are up in my back garden and just outside the front door the daffs are getting ready to open. Sorry spring is taking its time down there, but it will here very soon.

Yes, yes, yes! I would love one of your Butterfly Parcel Kits. Those are my colors. I love the earthy tones. I'm sorry I can't send you some spring. We're getting snowed on this week in the Northeast. But it's coming. Just hang on!

Yes, please make more kits. I'm going to have to resign from my job, so I can check out your Etsy Shop every 5 minutes. :)
