As you know by now, I love to create in *mass production mode* a lot of the time. It's fun to create one of kind projects too! This card below is special thank you card for my parents. I think when you have a specific recipient(s) in mind, you can focus on exactly what you want to do. I've also been loving the look of fine stationery.....the of type of cards that may be in a special box with a matching envelope and you hoard them until the right occasion comes along to use them...KWIM?
With today's card, I feel that I captured the look I wanted. I call this an *all inclusive* card because it really has it all....a beautiful card front, a decorated inside flap and a matching envelope. Be sure to zoom in so you can see all the pretty details.
For the card front, I used the Lockhart Bouquet stamp and thanks a bunch sentiment. The main image is colored with Copic markers to match the pretty background paper from Basic Grey. I also used the lace backgrounder by CHF. The main image was cut and embossed with a Spellbinder's Nestabilities Oval Die Template and layered on a scallop cut oval. Notice that I aligned the oval at an angle on my card, I think it works! All of these supplies can be purchased at Ellen's online store. Ribbon is from Papertrey Ink. For the inside of the card, I added more detail by stamping the Lockhart Rose Ribbon stamp and coloring it in with Copic markers. I love to stamp inside the card, it really adds some thoughtful detail.
And for the envelope, I added the same Rose Ribbon border and colored it in with Copic markers. I made a seal but not in the typical fashion where it covers the back of the envelope flap. I placed it off center on the front of the envelope. I think it will be like a little present because it's so pretty and dimensional. I used a Papertrey sentiment on a cut and embossed circle Nestabilities Die that has been layered on a pink scallop Nesties die. It's attached with pop dots.
Tip of the day: If you want to mail this type of card, I suggest placing the entire card in a plastic sleeve and using address labels on the outside. This will keep the raised seal protected.

The card is beautiful. I really appreciate your showing the inside and envy. Sometimes we are all at a loss on what to do for the inside. This is a great idea, it makes it more of a gift than just a simple card. Have a great day!

Gorgeous card - I wanted to say that it has everything - except an envelope with my address on it - and then I read it was for your parents.
I might be able to take candy from a child, but I can't take cards from parents.
