Papertrey Baby Ensemble

My youngest child informed me that today was her half birthday. She is officially 9-1/2 years old. My, where does the time go? Just yesterday, it seems like I was washing baby outfits, burp clothes and going through stain sticks like you wouldn't believe! Now I'm laundering tiny training bras and piles of clothes that the girls just shove into their closets because it takes too much time to walk their dirty laundry to the laundry room!

But all that will be changing soon because I'm pregnant! NAWWWWWWTT! April Fool's!!!!!!!! OMG, I should not even kid about that! This year I will be 39 and holdin'........not 39 and holdin' a BAYBEE!!!

Let's move on before I scare myself further!!! LOL!! There is a new baby that is going to be joining my family soon, no kidding aside. My niece is having a sweet baby girl in a month or so and I made her this sweet ensemble for her baby shower. I gave her the box and the girls each picked out gifts to give my niece also. The entire ensemble is pictured below.
The cute box and all of the stamps for the box and tags are from Papertrey Ink. The papers and embellishments are from Making Memories Garden Party collection and came right from my Inspiration Station. Oh did the girls and I have fun packing up all of these goodies. Their favorite gift was the teeny tiny pair of pink tennies pictured below. They were quite adorable and no comparison for the size 8 boys soccer shoes I just bought my Josey. No, I still don't want a baby, thank you very muchly! Here's the lid to the box I made for my niece. My hopes are that this will be a keepsake box for the baby's tiny little treasures. And below are the tags that accompanied each gift. I made the tags out of versions of my clam shell cards, using Spellbinder's Nestabilities Die Templates. My niece just loved the little clothespins. She will be a young mother so my reds and I are hoping that she will need lots of babysitters. I can almost smell her already.

Uhhhh, still don't want a baby though but I can't wait to hold this wee little one. Don't get me wrong, a baby is a true blessing and I would absolutely treasure a new baby.....I just prefer to spoil someone else's baby at this time in my life. Now get out there and fool someone, it's still April Fool's Day!!!

Super cute ensemble! LOVE all your details...
Now about that baby... I have a 10 year old dd, and was right there with you on the training bras, and how things are different... then almost choked on the 'I'm Pregnant' - only because I'll be 46, and immediately thought what if I was pregnant??????

oh my....

Mish,

I saw this earlier in the Papertrey gallery and thought you would be a winner. At least you are in my book. I love it all and am waiting to find out if a teacher at work is going to have a boy or a girl. Have fun with the new baby.

SUPER DUPER CUTE, MISH! Cherish the training bras while you can, too, pretty soon it will be...well I won't give Morgan away, but it will be real bra time and teen shopping for them... fun fun fun!

There is nothing in the world like the wonderful smell of babies. There is nothing in the world like your creativity! These are some awesome creations.
There is nothing in the world like holding, cuddling, spoiling, and loving a baby and then say to the mom or dad "baby needs her diaper changed", LOL.

Mish,
I am always awed by your creativity and teh beauty of your projects. This one almost makes me want to have a baby so I can get one, but then I hear my two teenage sons playing WII and making and unnecessary amount of noise doing it and change my mind. Next best thing... make one for my pregnant friend. Keep it coming..

cute cute cute! And those shoes are too adorable! I want a set... to hang from my car mirror! I like to say... "at my age... babies are a great thing to visit, but not to live with" I love to oogle, talk silly and spoil them all around me, but I enjoy my silence and diaper free home. LOL!

I am just curious what you meant by 'versions of my clam shell cards'. I can tell you cut them out to get the scallop but what did you start with for those adorable little tags??
Thank you!
