Tranquility Trilogy

Welcome back to another Papertrey Group Post. Today we're featuring Nicoles new stamp set with coordinating dies called Tranquility Trilogy. It's all about the triangles...a shape we don't see that much in stamp sets. For my projects today I chose to create an embellished gift sack with coordinating card. When I first saw this new stamp set I was immediately drawn to the floral images because they reminded me of some of the vintage wallpaper I've been collecting.
So that's where I drew my inspiration from for the colors today. Using Simply Chartreuse, Summer Sunrise and a pink from Jenni Bowlin, I die cut and stamped the triangle images. Using chocolate baker's twine I attached the triangles on with my tiny stapler, creating a string of pennants that I wrapped around a large glassine bag. I cut a piece of my vintage wallpaper to fit inside the sack to create a muted patterned background inside the sack.
For my coordinating card I used the same pennant style string tied around the top. The envelope is lined with more of my vintage wallpaper.
A paper doily and cute little pint size jar from the new Friendship Jar Summer Fillers stamp set embellishes the bottom of the card along with a snippet of vintage wallpaper plus a stamped label from the new Little Labels.
It's always fun to receive a little gift now and then.....and sometimes it's even more fun to create the little gift item + matching card just to see the recipient's smiling face. Here I've packaged up my card...will probably stick in a few chocolates....and will package this up with a cute, vintage pillowcase. The colors on this one coordinate nicely with my vintage sack and card.
Hope you enjoy! Don't be square....be sure to check out all the other triangular creations from the design team + Nichole:

What a fantastic gift set! Your card which combines stamp sets is great. The banners on the card and bag are great. What cool vintage wallpaper, as well. :)

Ohmygosh...I can't believe that with each release your selections (and what all of you do with them) get better and better. If only I had an unlimited bank balance. ;)
