July Papertrey release projects...

Today I have a few projects to show you from the July Papertrey release. First up is one of my favorite projects from my gallery this month. I combined the ice cream cone images/dies from Sweet As Can Be with the strawberry images/labels/dies from Friendship Jar Summer Fillers and Little Labels to create a sweet summertime card. The paper I used for both of today's projects is from Simple Stories...100 Days of Summer line. I found mine at Scrapbooks, Etc in Topeka, Kansas.....and I believe it's also at Two Peas online.
Perfect for little birthday parties or just a fun note to a friend. I used Copics to color the sweet strawberry image, Studio Calico Mister Huey spray inks for the background splatters and some Washi tape in the right hand corner of the the main image. Love these sweet little images from this month's release.
Next up I used more of the same papers and Papertrey's new Hanging Out stamp set and coordinating dies. I also used a Half & Half Die to cut the center piece of patterned paper. Love the decorative edges that you can die cut to lots of lengths. The other two pieces of patterned paper were cut by hand with scissors. Ribbon is Lemon Tart. Polka dot circle image is from Take Note.
Hope you enjoyed this month's release. Did you order some great stuff?

On a side note, we are DONE with softball for the summer. We spent 3 grueling, hot days at the World Series tournament. It was a great season for all of the girls! We are now looking forward to some relaxing days.....spent by the pool....planning a road trip....creating fun stuff...hanging out with friends. Whew, it's been a long couple of months. Unfortunately my fun stuff will have to start a little later. It seems the 106 degree temps got the best of me after 3 days. I feel like a truck ran over me + it's like the worst flu ever! Remember to stay hydrated and keep cool inside the AC if you can! Hope the rest of your summer is great!

These are just darling Michelle. I LOVE that paper. I went to their website to look at the other lines. I didn't see where they said to buy either. I will check out the 2 you suggested.

It has actually been cooler here in AL the last couple days...from what I understand though it is coming our way. I am ready for fall. :)

As always your cards just make me happy. I always connect to the colors you choose and the papers you use. You do a fabulous job of putting everything together.
The heatwave is heading to Tennessee in the next day or two.
I hope you feel better soon and enjoy your non-softball time.

I really liked this months release. I'm so ready for another order.
Stay cool, we had the most perfect spring and now that the kids are home for the holiday it's raining! Boring!
