Happy Cupcake Day

Happy Thursday everyone! Thursdays mean BASKETBALL for us so I'm super excited for this evening. Eric comes home early, we ride to the ballgames together, get hotdogs from the concession stand......I notoriously drip mustard on my favorite team sweatshirt, Eric teases me relentlessly......and we cheer the reds on to victory! It's a grand time.

As far as the crafting goes, I'm still in that birthday theme mood. I created this cute card using a bunch of different products. The main image is a new stamp I got from Shabby Green Door called Gingham Journaling Block . I picked mine up at Scrapbooks, Etc in Topeka, my favorite place to shop! On the journaling block, I stamped *wish big* from Papertrey's Big and Bold Wishes. I also used Karen Lockhart's Itty Bitty Cupcake and *happy cupcake day* sentiment.
I colored the Itty Bitty Cupcake using the Copic Sketch markers shown above. I finished off the cupcake with some glittery sprinkles. The card base is adorned with patterned paper strips, shimmery cream ribbon, and a Cuttlebug birthday background on Vintage Cream cardstock. A perfectly sweet birthday card. :)
I was having so much fun with the cupcakes that I made up some more Mishie Mini Kits. These are called *Hey Cupcake* and will up in the shop today.
Here's the photo of the kit contents:
Lot of fun doo-dads to add to cards, scrapbook pages or gift bags.......some of the supplies used were the Gingham Journaling Block from Shabby Green Door, Karen Lockhart stamps, Elle's Studio cupcake stamp, Papertrey stamps and buttons and more.
There's also a few snippets of ribbon, including the *sprinkles and smiles* stamped ribbon...and a strip of patterned paper.
What do you do with a kit? What I would do with the kit is this......round up additional stamping supplies such as cardstock, sequins, more ribbon, stamps,etc.......make yourself a little birthday inspiration station....then just start stamping. Piece together items in mixy matchy fashion and see what you come up with. By the end of your stamping session, you'll have a handful of cards, etc. If you get two kits, you can invite a friend over for some stamping fun. Enjoy!!

You are so clever with all of your "mass production" of your embellishments...I love the jello molds for holding your items. I have so many from my Grandmother....I know she would be pleased for me to use them frequently! You are an inspiration!
