Valentine Exchange

Edit: from a reader:
LOVE your kits and all you do, but please don't limit you future kits to those that are talented enough to send photos of their finished projects - Some of us are challenged in the "tech" department - Most of all ME!!!

Barbara, I'll be sure have lots of kits in the shop that are for everyone. :) :)

Note: The kits are sold out. I'll be mailing your kits with a special note of instructions out tomorrow. Right now I have a *not so happy* husband trying to do some plumbing. Ugh.

For those outside the US: Sorry I didn't include you guys this time. If we like this concept I can do it again with different kits and longer lead times. How does that sound?

Do you like to make Valentines? Me too. It was so fun as a child to hand out those little store bought Valentines....and to get some back too. As adults, we can still join in on the fun. Want to join me?

I am hosting a Valentine exchange of sorts. We won't be actually swapping Valentines...it's even better. I will be putting 10 Valentine Exchange Kits in my Etsy shop today. With your order you will receive ONE of the TWO kits shown below. Either a pink kit or a red kit, randomly chosen.
Full of little Valentine treasures like baker's twine, punched hearts, a paper heart doily, a hand sewn crepe paper ruffle, a hand sewn yo-yo (Mom's still at it) and more.
Here's the fun details: With your kit, you will make a Valentine goody....perhaps a few cards...maybe a gift sack filled with Valentine treats....a scrapbook layout....whatever your heart desires. In exchange, you can email me one photo of your project(s) and I will post it on my blog between now and Valentine's Day. Plus if you have a blog, I will link up to it too along with your project. If you order a kit, I'll send a little note with additional details and my email address.
More details: Kits will be limited to the US only this time around due to the time constraints of mailing the kits and getting them to you in time to create your projects and email a photo to me. Please only order a kit if you intend to email me back a photo and be featured on my blog. I have a lot of daily visitors so make sure you take a really great photo....next to a window with natural lighting or perhaps in a light box. Use fun Valentine props if you wish. Include one or more projects but please only send ONE photo. Your project will be posted on my blog the week of January 6th. Please have photos to me before February 10th. I will have other blog commitments after those dates and would love to showcase your project before Valentine's Day. Photos received after February 10th will not be posted on my blog. Kits are limited to a quantity of 10....they will be up in my Etsy shop shortly.

I can't wait to see what you create! I don't often get to see what gets made with all my Etsy shop goodies, so I'm excited to share!

Another vote for an international exchange sometime ... it sounds like lots of fun but postage to New Zealand takes time. :o)
