Heart Prints Wedding Cards

Edit........Tracy asked: Have you done any further work on a card sketch book kit you talked about in your Jan. 2008 post? I would love to have a book of your exclusive sketches!!!

Answer: No, I haven't. At this time life is just too busy so I won't be doing any sketch book kits....gotta keep life simplified so that it doesn't pass me by, KWIM? Thanks for asking though.

Oh, how I truly love my beautiful messes. I couldn't have a better job than stamping and creating and being able to be here for my family. And I love that I'm able to be the *go to* girl for all of my friends who are not stampers and who are not creative. They keep me hoppin' with new creations. I'm still on the wedding cards this week. Today I have a FUN set of cards that use my favorite Papertrey Heart Prints set. You seriously need this set...for Valentine's Day, weddings, anniversaries, love and just every day cards. The fact that this set pairs up with the Heart Punches makes it an even more versatile set because you can punch hearts and layer, etc......just get this set, trust me!
I made this set of cards versatile again, being suitable for wedding showers or for the actual wedding. I chose colors to match the fun October Afternoon patterned paper, using Dark Chocolate and Ripe Avocado for the ink colors. I stamped the hearts, punched them with the Large Heart punch and added a polka dot heart outline from the Borders and Corners Hearts set.
I finished off the layers with some Ripe Avocado Twill Ribbon and a Vintage Buttons, along with some messy stitches to secure the ribbon. These cards are simple and clean and very snazzy!
Above shows a photo of the insides of the cards. I used some leftover scraps to create strips for the insides. The *best wishes* sentiment is from Beyond Basic Borders.

Woohoo, are you feelin' the love? I've had weddings on the brain so much lately that I got out my wedding box. It was so fun to look at our engagement photos, wedding invitations, the garter and little bird seed bags I saved. Oh what a fun time weddings are!!

I have loved all of your wedding cards this week! You are such an amazingly, creative lady! It has been perfect timing for me as I am preparing to go to an all-day crop this Saturday and was planning to make wedding cards!! Thanks for the ideas. BTW, Have you done any further work on a card sketch book kit you talked about in your Jan. 2008 post? I would love to have a book of your exclusive sketches!!!

You are making me really glad that I own both of these sets! LOL! I love these! I put that set away after Valentine's Day...it was my *go to* set this year, but you are really making me want to pull it out again! Thanks for sharing! You are so thoughtful to create for all of your friends!

My daughter will be a bridesmaid in two weddings this summer, plus has several more weddings to attend, so I need to make some cards for her to use. For some reason wedding cards are hard for me, so I'm really thankful to see your creations this week. Hopefully I can create something at least half as pretty as your cards! Thank you and keep them coming!

Another lovely set of cards! I especially love the detail of the paper on the INSIDE of the card. What a wonderful way to use up the stash...I hate to throw any of those gorgeous paper scraps away and this is a lovely way to have them take on new life! THANKS!

I love all your creations, but I have a question for you. If you were able to buy 4 PTI stamp sets. Which ones would they be??

I've got a little cash, but to many choices.

Previously I have purchased Birds of a Feather, Father Knows Best, and Wise Owl. Any help would be appreciated.
