BBQ Jars

My non stamping friend commissioned me to make these jars for her this holiday season. They are Starbucks Frappucino jars which have been repurposed to hold a homemade BBQ seasoning rub. For the tag, I used the large tag from the Spellbinder's Standard Tag Die Template set. By embossing the tag, it adds just enough detail that I didn't think an extra colored mat was needed. The cute cowgirl image and sentiment are from Rubber Soul. I colored the image with a red Copic marker then added red Stickles for some bling on that swingy cowgirl skirt. Various red ribbons from my stash finish off the tag.
For the back of the tag, I computer generated the information on the red cardstock. The *special recipe* sentiment is from Paper Trey. Lori will fill these with her special BBQ seasoning rub and hand these out to teachers, families and friends. I hope I get a jar along with the recipe!!
Do you have any homemade goodies that you make every year for gifts? Frosted sugar cookies and truffles are a favorite of mine. And the teachers love my white chocolate popcorn!!

Michelle - these are AWESOME! Yes, I make Mexican cookies called Biscochitos (like shortbread) and candy cane bark. I knew the Holiday Treats set by PTI would be PERFECT for food gift-giving!

These are darling! I'm originally a Texan and BBQ is in my blood. Unfortunately, not a lot of good BBQ up here in WA. What a cute idea! I don't have any special recipes but fillin' these bottles up with some Rudy's sauce would do me wonders up here! :-) Darling creations and VERY cute tags!

These are so cute! Who got to drink all the Starbucks!!?? One of these days I am going to get my hands on that set; it's soooo versatile! I would totally LOVE to see your recipe for White Chocolate Popcorn! I had some years ago and have been thinking of it ever since! Between blogs and the food network, I am really in the mood to make some holiday treats as gifts this year. In the past, I've made Stained Glass candies using chocolate and colored mini marshmallows and also chocolate covered preztels;

I have a recipe for buttermilk fudge that my best friend's mom gave me. I make that every Christmas, but some years it doesn't turn out. Fudge is finicky! I'd also love your white chocolate popcorn recipe!

Maybe you can help me out with something…? I want to order all of my food online from now on because of various reasons, but I don’t know where to go for quality food. I have tried 2 companies so far, Fresh Dining, and and Celebrity Foods, but I wanna get others I can try out. Do you know of any? The main thing I’ve ordered so far is steak. I guess you can say, I’m a steak junkie. LOL!!! From what I have found out (from what I have ordered so far) I think I am able to regulate the quality of beef I buy. I hate going to a store and getting that crappy slab of beef that I have to cut down until there is like nothing left. Hahaha!!!! (its so true though) Anyhow, sorry that I made this comment so long. If you can help me out or point me in a direction where I might find more quality foods online, I would greatly appreciate it. Have a good day or night! (depending on when you read this) LOL!!!!
