Stop and smell the flowers...

Hi friends. Another post for today. :) I was strolling around outside and just couldn't resist snapping some photos of my flowers. I was then inspired to make a card...so I'm posting card photos plus my flower photos. For my pretty flower card, I used Dawn's Delightful Dahlia stamp set along with the coordinating dies. I colored the die cut images with Copic markers in R81, R83, R85 and the Colorless Blender (0). All of the flower pieces are layered onto a Medium Pink Parcel Tag. Background papers are all Papertrey.
I added some Carnival Tickets with snippets of patterned paper in the centers. Wrinkle Ribbon and Papertrey Sweet Blush Satin ribbon finish off the tag. The sentiment is from Vintage Picnic Sentiments.
Here's a little stroll through my flower beds. Jordan just had to have a basket of Fuschias. So bright and pretty.
Coleus always has such nice variegated colors.
A new color blend of Petunias. These have light pinks and greens....they look very vintage-y.
Love the lacey foliage of ferns.
These are new additions, the bright pink ones.....
.....and these soft yellow ones.
Purple Petunias in the bicycle.
And Dahlia's for Dawn. I love the compact flowers.
And Jordan's fishy. Every year we plant something new in them.
Two colors of Spirea, just full of blooms.
Tiger Lilies always add a punch of orange.
Yellow Yarrow is awesome in picked flower bouquets.
And some new goodies for some wire flower baskets.
Hope you enjoy! The nice cool morning has now turned into a hot and humid afternoon....so I think we'll hang out inside for a while. Maybe grab a cranberry cooler and sit out on the deck.

Beautiful flowers and card! I have some of those tickets (okay ALOT of those tickets) and never thought to use them on my projects. I had them from when I used to do scrapbook crops and it takes a LONG time to use a whole roll.

You must have an earlier growing season. My tiger lilies haven't bloomed yet. I did get my first rose bloom though and that was exciting!
