Cottage Card Kits..

Edit:  The kits are now sold out, thank you for your orders.  I'm sorry that some international customers missed out on a kit due to the time differences.  I do try to post in advance on Twitter that kits are coming to the shop.  I also try to link my blog posts on my Facebook page.

I can't help myself....I just love vintage things like cottage florals, old fabric and book paper.  I love office supplies like tags and simple index cards and clips.  I love clothespins and simple brown paper sacks.  I was so inspired that I put together some kits to share with you.  I'll be saving one for myself so that I can have a little creative fun too.
I'm putting together a new blog post where I'll be using the kit contents to show you some mini tutorials.
I'll give you quick visual tips for using fabric on cards, creating layered accents, making embellished paperclips, painting with Gesso.....
I'll give you ideas on how to use the mini Instagram photos, how to create your own envelope liners and creating your own spray mists.  Lots of crafty fun.
The Cottage Card Kits are a great starting point for inspiration.  I'll be sitting down with my kit soon....with just scissors, a stapler, my sewing machine, a paint brush...getting back to the basics of why we love to play with paper.  I'll have my post up by the time you receive your kits so that you'll have plenty of inspiration when it comes time to dig into your goodie bag.  Kits are in available in limited quantities due to the product I have on hand.

I also wanted you to know that it's junkin' season around here.  I'm always on the look out for good finds and I'll be adding new items to the shop here and there.  Check back often, you never know what I'll drag home for you.  This sweet snack tray set in pretty milk glass is in the shop now. (sold now)  I love to use these as paint palettes....water goes in the cup and paints can be mixed on the tray.  Or use to store little bits and pieces of embellishments as you're working on a project.  Or as cute little makeup trays in your bathroom.  Or....a real snack tray, imagine that!
Hey, thanks for always stopping by.  I love when you visit me.

Note:  Just a reminder that I do ship internationally....just email me the items you'd like and I will give you a shipping quote.  :)

I can so understand your need to spread your creative wings and try something new. And of course you already are doing it so well. I too had that feeling in January this year, enrolled in a beginning sewing class and have loved it. Now in an intermediate class and sew every week. It is such a good feeling to take on a new creative task. I am excited to follow along with you as you show us your art jounal projects. You posts are always so inspiring. Thank you for taking us along your jounrney.
