Hey everyone! Papertrey Ink is celebrating it's 2 Year Anniversary and we'd like you to join the party. For 14 days, Nichole and the Papertrey girls will be counting down to the big day with some wonderful prizes, challenges and exciting news and product releases. Today we're kicking off the party by giving away free stamp sets. Each designer has chosen their favorite stamp set and YOU might be one of the lucky winners.
For my favorite stamp set, I chose Piece of Cake. I was so excited when this stamp set came out. I was a customer back then and can remember fun and fresh this new stamp set was. It was very hard picking out a favorite stamp set, I have SO many. But I think Piece of Cake really wraps up what I love about Papertrey stamps. The designs are fresh, fun and unique....the images are separated out into layers for ease of stamping.....the themes are trendy but still classic enough to use for years and years to come.....the sentiments are like no others.......and the fonts are just as fun as the stamp images. What's NOT to love?
For my beautiful cake card, I stamped the cake images onto Kraft cardstock, using Fresh Snow ink for the frosting and pink craft paint for the cake layers. I topped the cake with some green flowers and a few kinds of glitter....Martha Stewart and some glass glitter from Star Lit Studio. The shimmer factor is amazing! I layered two pieces of cake using pop dots in between. The fun scroll image in the background is in the Piece of Cake set too, another wonderful supporting image. Pink sequins were added to the scroll loops. I used a Cuttlebug folder for the background cream color and a Spellbinders Label Die for the top layer.
I used the two stamps that are stamped separately to create the two colored sentiment. I love that about this set..different fonts in different sizes to really create a unique look and color combination. The pretty ribbon is Sweet Blush Swiss Dot, tied up with a square button. This card could easily be used for a birthday card but is generic enough in nature that you could add a wedding or congratulations sentiment. Or maybe someone just likes cake...like me.Sooooo, whaddya think? Would like to have a shot at winning this beauty of a set? Wouldn't that just frost your cake? I just went through every set as a reminder and its soo hard to choose, though favourite set ever?.. Ive always been partial to the versatility of Limitless Labels. You just made piece of cake a fav once again, its the yummiest looking cake stamp ever.
I love your card with the pink and kraft cardstock paired together. My favorite set would be Green Thumb, I especially love the sentiments.
I really liked this set but never purchased it. I love the way you added the white between the layers of cake. It really makes the pink frosting pop.

I love all Papertreys sets, but wasn't able to get them all and this is one that I really wanted. I think I like Mixed Messages the best though. I always love what you do, you are so creative and think out of the box.

Polka dot basics is my fave PTI set (I do have many others, but I use this one the most!). I LOVE all the different sizes of dots, the ease of lining them up with those long strips, plus the ability to make individual dots too. This set has it all! thanks for all your inspiration. Oh my..I have to pick my favourite. I love them all. But I would have to say that Boards and Beams is a really a great one. I used that at Christmas to do my christmas cards. I matched it up with the Home for the holidays set.

Oh, I have always loved this set! haven't purchased it yet though. I absolutely love the layering of the cake and the dimension it creates! Looks so beautiful and fun to create.
I love all of the sets but if you make me pick it will have to boards and beams its such a beautifully detailed stamp set,unlike any other I've seen.
Now you make me want this cake set too after seeing what you did with it.
My favorites are quilters sampler and boards and beams. They are both so great for making gifts. I really love them all.
I would have to say my favorite set is the Silent Night as that flourish just lends itself to anu card from Christmas to sympathy and back again.

It would be hard to say exactly which set is my favorite. The ones that have seen the most ink are the flower sets. I don't have the Piece of Cake set yet, it is on my list but keeps getting bumped every month when the new sets come out so I would love to win it.

It's definitely hard to choose just one... many are favorites for different reasons! I think Limitless Labels is just a genius set... you wonder why anyone didn't come up with a set like that sooner! :) I also love all the holiday sets that have been released over the last two years... beautiful. I think my favorite PI set is Floral Frenzy. The flowers are so cute and can be used for ANY occasion. And the sentiments are so simple, they can also go in any direction. It is definitely one of my go to sets.
Just love the "frosting" on this card.
Guide Lines is my favorite. I like that there are so many different combinations possible and everyone looks different depending on the color.

Little Lady brought me to PTI. Green Thumb was an early favorite -I love it's versatility. Birds of Feather and Wise Owl were instant favorites. Out on a Limb and Polka Dot Basics are by far my most used currently.

Heart Prints is my favorite! Perfect for this season but versatile enough to use on lots of occassions. I just LOVE Piece of Cake though - I'd sure love to get my hands on it :)
My favorite set, so far, is Heart Prints. I love the different patterns on the hearts and that it coordinates with punches. I am no good with scissors!
Depending on what I am making that stamp set becomes my favorite:-) I just LOVE PTI--the stamp sets, the design team members, the products, the customer service, the blogs that showcase the stamps/products, the releases, and on and on and on. Can you tell that I am a #1 fan of PTI? Right now I have been making chocolate nugget boxes for Valentines Day and have been using Sweet Love so that it my favorite. Check back next week and it will be another.

I love just about everything you share -- but my favorite is a real basic -- Polka Dot Basic to be exact! With the Dotted Swiss embossing folder ... I'm in dot heaven!

My favorite lately has been Out on a Limb,there is just so much versatility to that set. Thanks for the opportunity to win Piece of Cake, I do not have that one yet!
First, I LOVE your card. I am justing getting into stamps, but I would have to say that so far, I love the polka dots best. It can be used in so many ways!
I probably use Limitless Labels the most - LOVE those nugget boxes! :)

I don't think I can pick one favorite set. I love them all, but use Polka Dot Basics and Out on a Limb the most.
