I did a little shopping today.....

It was a good day and I bought a lot of *good things* at Michael's today....actually, I bought wayyyyy too many good things but I couldn't resist. They were in my favorite colors of brown/sage/aqua! I got some wonderful twill ribbon, some fun punches, little paper tags and that delicious glitter and some glue for my girls to use.

What? This is all from Martha Stewart's new line? Get out, I didn't even notice it was her stuff!!!!!!! LOL! Okay, I knew it was...it's all the talk amongst we scrappers and stampers right?

There is a TON of new stuff on the shelves by Martha. Go see Julie's post(blog listing at right), she did a great job of summarizing the product line. To me, it doesn't matter whether the product is from Martha Stewart or Marty Stewart(country singer).....if I like it, I buy it. It's just like any other product line to me. Some stuff I love, some stuff is not for me. Some is nicely priced, some costs a little more than I would pay. It's all about what you like and if you'll actually use the product when you get it home.

Sooo, let me know what you bought! I can't wait to use my glitter and punches and will be sure to post some creations.

Oh I had fun too in the MS section. I bought the little tag punch, don't have a die cut system and have been lookin' for a little tag for a while! And I couldn't resist the bird stamps, made a card today with one of them. I held off on the ribbon but I'm sure I'll be back! Love the punches you bought too!

I went shoppin' yesterday and came home with the 2 sets of bird stamps, I couldn't resist...I love birds. And I also bought 2 rolls of the 3/16" ribbon edges in chocolate. I have lots more on my list...next time! Have fun with your new goodies...can't wait to see them in action!

I can't wait to see what you create with your new goodies! I've sworn off shopping at the local Michaels - they don't know the meaning of the phrase customer service - so I'm safe from a case of lemmingness for now.

Oh...you got good stuff, too! I bought three of the glitters. I thought the colors were unique and worth the cost ($4.99). I also got some of the ribbon - pink, edged in brown. I also thought I should sample the stickers...so I got the conversation bubbles and some rub-ons. I really hesitated on the bird stamps...they were realistic and a really nice size. I didn't get them in the end. Next time I would like to have the punch of the circle with the small scallop - on the INSIDE!!!! Yummy!
