All things green.....

So I put away all of my Easter decorations today and did a little decorating for spring. Everything I own is green! Green has been my favorite color since forever! When Hunter Green was popular, that was my color. Now it's a sage/vintage green. And I'm really into birds/nests/eggs, botanical prints, ferny type stuff, little stone statues and apothecary domes. I believe I am turning my house into a greenhouse!! Anyway, I thought I would post my photos of all things green that I love.....I get a ton of inspiration from the decorations in my home. Any other green lovers out there?

How beautiful everything looks. I love gardens and gardening and bringing that element into my home. My boys found a empty hummingbird nest on the ground and I loved displaying it on the mantle. So delicate and lovely.

How pretty!

Green has always been my favorite color, too! My bridesmaid's dresses were hunter green 13 years ago. (those poor girls LOL)

I have fallen in love with green in the last 3 months and can't get enough of it! My family thinks I have lost it cause that is one color I have refused to put in my house. It goes so well with my chocolate walls! I also love green ferns, birdhouses and would absolutely LOVE to find a hummer's nest!!! I look for one every fall and no luck.

Ohh, I'm all about green! My stamp room is painted a greyish sagey/mossy green that is so peaceful and relaxing. Your home is gorgeous! If I had my own home, that's how I'd want to decorate it. TFS!

not so much a green lover, I too had a lot of hunter green when it was popular, even hunter green couches. OK, now I have purged my living room of all things green.....but I do share your love of birds and alike. I have a large birdhouse in my living room made with old fence wood with a cool metal roof, I just love it! Definitely have a bird thing going on!

I have also loved green forever. One day I looked into my closet and said WoW everything is green, must be your favorite color! When I look back I have always favored green all shades, red being my next favorite. My bedroom is green and now my bathroom is an olive green.
I love your decorations with green!

Oh my gosh! Yes, I love, love green. Anything green. My bridesmaid dresses were a deep green and black velvet (1990). My DD and I are busy trying to pick which Stampin' Up! green to use in our kitchen when we paint next time.

Your pictures are beautiful.

Hi Michelle,

Your love of green is so in touch with nature. I believe Earth Day is this week. In Chicago, today we're celebrating "green day" to promote a focus on ecology.
I love readig your blog and enjoy seeing all of your creative artistry.

Michelle, I LOVE the color green! I have green in every room of our house somewhere. Most of the rooms have it on the walls.
We also just bought a new color and guess what??? You guessed it...green! It's called Kiwi Metallic and is a cross between Certainly Celery and Mellow Moss. I also wear lots of green.
I love seeing your green items as well.

Love your home decorating. It's very me! I also have lots of birds and nests and botanicals everywhere. There's a great shop down the road I visit often (just saw your postcard soap dish there yesterday!). I'll share a cool idea I stole from there...take the base of an old birdbath and turn it into a big vase. Stuff the top with silk plants or flowers, and voila! Mine's stuffed with ferns and fiddleheads. Love it!

Your decor is beautiful! I've been a lover of green for as far back as I can remember. When I was around 15 yrs. old my mother told me that "if you buy another green piece of clothing I'll scream"! So, that was about 45 years ago...I guess it's been a REALLY long time, huh? LOL & TFS.

As I am scrolling through the wonderful blogs this morning I came across yours and have a question(not pertaining to card designs) and wondered where you purchased the white wall cabinet/towel bar? I am in the process of remodeling my bath and have been looking for almost the exact cabinet and my search has left me frustrated. Thanks, Dorothy Freber@dorntoto@hotmail.com

Sorry, I still can't myself login - no idea why it is not working for me...

I have just a question: As much as I love your cards, i think, I even love your decorating more! Can't you show us a bit more how you have decorated for summer (and later for fall, etc?) A nosy admirer from Europe...

*lol*
