Everyday Button Bits

Ladies, my darn links to the other designers aren't working....but if you copy and paste them, they work. I'm off to a quilt class today so I have to run. Hope you are loving all the sneak peeks!!

Everyday Button Bits is sure to be a Papertrey set you'll want to add to your collection. Each of the images has an open space where you place buttons that become part of the main image. We all love to collect buttons, and here's a chance for you to use those bigger buttons that come in your Papertrey collections. For my card, I used the trio of tree image that has 3 tree trunks just waiting for buttons to be plopped on top. I used circle punches to punch out some Green Tea Leaves circles to go under my Spring Moss Vintage Buttons that are tied with Rustic Cream Button Twine. With a little creativity, you can layer and combine accents to create some really cute projects. The little rolling hills image is another stamp from Everyday Button Bits. I stamped it onto some 2008 Bitty Box patterned paper and then cut it out. I used more of the same paper to layer under my main image piece that has been stitched with my sewing machine.

The sentiments in Everyday Button Bits are very cute too. I combined the *you've been so kind* sentiment with a *thank you* sentiment from Vintage Picnic. They mixy match together so well. I finished off my card with a splash of Melon Berry Itty Bitty Dots ribbon. Sometimes those unexpected colors are just what it takes to make your card come alive.
I know you're probably jumpin' in your seats over Everyday Button Bits. So let's not delay...head over to the other Papertrey Designers' blogs to see what they've created:
