Yum-Dee-Dum....Treat Boxes

Looking for clever ways to package homemade treats this year. My Twinkles and Tinsel Box Kits offer up a fun way to offer up your best treats this year. Sometimes just a few little treats is you need to show someone you care. Today I've made some of my family's favorites...Peanut Butter Cup Cookies. Again, we enjoyed these at the basketball game the other night. The bus driver really appreciated a little goody! :)

With the kit, you'll get supplies to assemble 4 completed boxes. Bonus: For the remaining kits in the shop, I'm adding in 4 free sheets of tissue and 4 free Dainty Doilies so you can package your treats just like I'm doing today.

First up, assemble the boxes and tags as shown in the kit photos...or any way you'd like.
Prepare your treats and stack two cooled cookies in a cute cupcake liner. I found these holiday ones at Michael's in the Martha Stewart section.
Fold a sheet of tissue to fit the width of the box.
Nestle the treats into the box. Goodbye little morslets of chocolate and peanut buttery goodness. :)
Tuck the fold tissue paper neatly into the box.
Fold up the box. Fold over about 1" of a Dainty Doily. Lay on top of the box and wrap twine around the box. Tie on an embellished tag. Write the recipient's name on the label. Deliver to your favorite peeps!
Oh, such a cute way to hand out some little goodies. If homemade treats aren't your thing, you can add in chocolate truffles or fudge from the candy shop.....stacks of pre-wrapped candies, Hershey Kisses, etc. Enjoy!

If you'd like to purchase any of the items used in these kits separately, I used Dainty Doilies, Small Kraft Boxes with Tissue, Small White Boxes with Tissue, Small Holiday Tag Trio, and Cotton Twine.

Recipe for cookies: Take tube of peanut butter cookies (I used Pillsbury) and roll into 1" balls. Bake in mini muffin tins as package directs. Immediately push mini Reese's peanut butter cups into cookies when removed from the oven. Sprinkle with holiday sprinkles if you wish. Cool. Eat two or three or six and package up the rest for gifts. :)
