I wonder to be in front of a fire with a nice cup of mochaccino looking through the window the snow out there..
Rarely snow here.
Thanks for sharing this ordinary moments.
This was a treat, I sure miss the Midwest this time of year. I'm stuck in Texas, and I'm none too pleased about it! Thanks for the images.
Life is good. I love peeking in at your ordinary day, thank you for inviting us in.
Ooo!! Snow???!!!! I want snow! :-) And I *love* your daughter's cheese house. Great job! And cappucino... and a fire? You are so blessed, my friend. Enjoy!
Wow..so silly for that person to leave such a comment..Shame on them..your lovely work and sharing of an ordinary day is AWESOME! Well Thanks for sharing your lovely day..Wish we could get some SNOW here in Hawaii..wanna share some??
OMGosh! That fireplace (and all your decor on it) is GORGEEOUS!! You'd laugh if you saw mine -lol! :) (We don't even have a mantel yet, the front is the same 'tile' that is in our entry way, and the fireplace itself is dinky!. . .:). . .MUST add an upgrade like yours to our 'wishlist'). :)
This is an Ali Edwards Day In the Life post if I ever saw one! Love it!

They keep saying snow is on it's way, but so far hasn't hit here. I have heard other areas of NE got 4-5 inches though.
Stay warm and enjoy your ordinary days!
hmmmm....it IS that time of year. Time to get my sweetie to make me one of his special cappuccinos!
Thank you for all your ideas for gift giving. I'm a full-time work out of home single mom with children. I need every short cut I can get and I also use store bought cookie dough and cool whip. Thanks Mish Mari Pearson from Iowa.
Well Mish you are anything but undomesticated....you "can" everything from your own garden, always presenting in a unique way, a very involved hands on parent, a creative crafter, a thrifty bargain hunter...I could go on and on...I don't know you personally but love visiting your blog with my morning coffee ...keep it up and disregard that one negative person....
Awesome pictures! We had our first snow last Friday evening. Beautiful!
And there's nothing better than a warm, crackling fire in the fireplace! I have so many wonderful memories of sitting by the fire as a child. . . and I even liked splitting the firewood! and hunting pine knots for kindling! and the smell is so wonderful!
Thanks for awakening my good memories! :D
Love ya, Mish! And I love Cool Whip, too. ;)
It seems that I don't get many ordinary days lately, so when I do, they are precious.
I am proud to say I HEART COOL WHIP TOO (and Velveeta too!)!!!! And I know how to make my own. You are the best Mish!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and the family.
