JustRite Release #2 Blog Hop

With graduations coming up this month, it's good to have a stash of graduation cards on hand. You never know when you'll get an invite to a ceremony or a graduation party. While it's common to use your school colors on cards, I like to have an assortment that are just fun and cheery. Using some Crate Paper patterned paper as my color inspiration, I reached for the graduation stamp and border in the Just Rite Favorite Occasions stamp set and colored in the images with Copic Sketch markers (marker colors shown at end of post). I then cut and embossed the image with Spellbinder's Circle Nestabilities and Pinking Nestabilities Die Templates. All of the 10 images in this new set can be colored....perfect with Copics. And this is a great set to have for an all occasion set. I can't wait to use it for some Father's Day cards next.
I added some ribbon from my stash and tied buttons to the image piece and then stitched the edges with my sewing machine. I also stamped the base card with some white stars.
And here's my Copic colors I used, below.
Josey's got lots of friends graduating from junior high this year so I'm sure I'll need more cards...so back to the drawing board for me. :) And the inspiration doesn't stop here, check out the designers' blogs below for more Blop Hop creations:

I love your project thanks for picking a graduation card I needed the inspiration since I need a card for my husbands niece who is valedictorian of her high school class. We are so proud of her...

These are darling, Mish! I like the whimsy in color and image. I have only college grads in my life this year. Wonder if they would like a little FUN instead of formality? ;-D

Wonderful project. Unfortunately, we don't get the crystal clear cardstock in the U.K. Is ist not similar to acetate and could be replaced with that?
Have a lovely day,
