It seems like Karen Lockhart's Warm Socks stamp makes it into every season of stamping for me. This time I've turned the socks into Christmas stockings. I paper pieced the stockings by stamping the main image onto Cosmo Cricket patterned paper. Then I cut out the stocking portions only and hung them onto my sentiment block with brads. I used a Warm Grey Copic Sketch marker to add some shading and dimension to the socks. I finished off my card with more Cosmo Cricket background paper and the *the stockings were hung* sentiment from Karen Lockhart.

The socks are the perfect touch, and I like the pair inside the car to continue the theme. I hope you get warm soon!
so darling Mish...what a sweet, warm, and cozy little card.

Well look on the bright side of having no heat....another excuse to have more hot chocolate!!! LOL!!! I hope you get your heat back on real soon!!! Now, this little card is just so sweet and I really love those socks and you always come up with the cutest themes for them....I may need to add this stamp to my wish list!!! HUGS!!!

I really like that you keep finding new ways to use the sock stamps. So cute! Our furnace (Just 3 yrs. 0ld) quit on Sat. - we're still waiting for the part! Thank goodness we have a woodstove! I feel your pain and discomfort! Hopefully tomorrow we'll both be warmer!
NO HEAT? why did this happen and why has it taken 3 days to fix? bummer...but you do have a fireplace, so i feel a little less concerned for you.
cute cards...stay warm!
Precious, precious!! You always make the cutest things!
Hugs,
Anne Marie
