It's been a while since I've added to my Christmas card stash. I have my stamping table totally covered with my new K and Company patterned paper and matching embellishments. I got a big 12" x 12" pad of the paper and it's just filled with the cutest patterns. It's fun to look at each piece of paper and see what stamps I have to match. I loved this paper that had big ornaments on it. Karen
Lockhart has an
Angel With Decorations stamp that works perfectly with the pretty paper.
I colored my image with
Copic markers to match the paper and added a paper pieced element to the Angel's flowing dress. For the background of the card, I used both sides of the patterned paper. Each piece in the paper pack has a coordinating design on the back side. I used
Papertrey Ocean Tides for the base card and ribbon and added a little ornament embellishment from my K and Company chipboard box. Little sequins finish off all the ornaments.
I used a Karen
Lockhart sentiment that fit in perfectly with my angel theme and also added a strip of patterned paper to the inside of the card. You can scroll back up and zoom in on the first photo to see that I added a coordinating
Lockhart stamp to the outside of the card. It ALL coordinates to make a complete card, inside and out.
Hope you're wrapping up the weekend in a FUN way! My girls are on their way home after going to a dinner theatre at the college with my MIL. I can't wait to hear all about it.

So pretty! I really like the paper piecing on her dress.
Your style really is so perfect for the Karen Lockhart stamps. Beautiful cards!
What a pretty card. Don't you just love it when there is double sided paper to make the design process easier. Your coloring matches perfectly.
Mish, I love your blog. You are so talented and organized (i'm jealous). I made your pickle dip (it was loved by all). My Mom makes the pickle roll-up appetizers all the time so she can't wait to try your dip. I'm making your pumpkin pie dessert for Thanksgiving. My husband can't wait!
This is just stunning! The colors are so very refreshing and the twinklies give the perfect touch! How in the world do you have the time to constantly crank out such gorgeous creations with your super busy world ~ Jan
What a complete card. Love how you coordinated everypart. Beautiful. The colors are soooo soft.

Mish this is beautiful and what a perfect match. Love the colors and the inside is just as beautiful. I have not explored with too many other dP's other than SU. I guess I need to check out some new friends(dp) on the block, hehehe

Love this card! That designer paper is beeeee-u-ti-ful and isn't that oceans tide color just the dreamiest ever?? I LOVE that color-it's my new favorite. Very purty. Very purty indeed!
This is gorgeous! The more I look at it, the more I like it!
I tried to find your email, but it isn't listed on the blog. Do you take orders from people who aren't local? I need some holiday cards. I would love to make them myself but I am just starting out and have no where NEAR enough supplies to take that on, myself. I love your style! If you would be up to it, I would pay for the cards+shipping. If not, I completely understand.
