Stay warm......

It's kinda chilly outside today. Looks really sunny and warm..but it's not. When it hits about 50 degrees outside, that's about the time I start to hibernate. I love all of the seasons but winter time is one that I view from indoors. :) Preferably with a hot mug of something to keep me warm. And my fuzzy new socks that I love so much. And pajama pants. And a quilt. That's my idea of a good winter day.

Those thoughts are what inspired my notepads today. I used Pine's adorable coffee mug from Warm Happiness along with some sentiments and stamps from Take Note (it will be back in stock within a few weeks). The notepads read: "note to self...stay warm". Pretty much my winter motto. The note to self stamp and bracket are from Take Note....stay was stamped with Hero Arts alphabet letters....and the warm is from the Snowfall stamp set. I love to mix and match all my alphabets and sentiment stamps to create entirely new sentiments. It's so fun to see what you can come up with. You should try it!
For my colors I used Ripe Avocado, Aqua Mist and Pure Poppy. Patterned paper is from Imaginesce that I found at my local scrapbook store. Glittery effects on mug is sparkly Stickles. I also used Pure Poppy Vintage Buttons tied with linen thread...and a snippet of Aqua Mist twill ribbon. Base rectangle for mug was cut with a Rectangle Spellbinders Nesties die template.
Hope you're staying warm today! I was just telling Eric how thankful I am for a nice warm home, lots of laundry which means we have warm clothes to wear......dirty dishes to do from making vegetable beef stew......our bellies will be full and warm tonight.......a cozy bed piled high with pillows and blankets from two little reds that like to crawl in and *pillow talk* with mom and dad on a Sunday afternoon. Life is good. Embrace the day my friends.
And if you'd like to embrace some Christmas notepads.....I'll have some up in the shop soon. :)
