Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day! I hope you have a wonderful day with your family! Yesterday, I got to do one of my favorite things in the world.....shop for flowers for my flower beds. We visited a great green house and I spent a lot of time just wondering through each little building.

Some day I will have a rose garden.
Loved all hanging baskets, I've got my porch flowers all set out.
Pretty geraniums, always a favorite of my mom's.
Pretty petunias in a rainbow of colors...
And a few perennials that came home with me. We were outside til we couldn't see anymore planting all of my pretty perennials. Jordy is my little helper, her tiny body can bend over MUCH better than my almost 40 year old body!
Well, I just got a call from Jordan. The family is about back from town with 25 bags of mulch. She told me to get ready and *get my mulchin' clothes on* cuz they're on their way. So, I'm outta here for today to enjoy my favorite time of year! Blessings to you all!!!

Happy Mother's Day, Mish. You're one of the coolest moms I know. I'm still willing, by the way, to get adopted if you're ever in the mood! LOL

Planting is always fun. The joys of living in the Bay Area, you can plant all year round! Roses are overated, way too much work all the time. I'm sure your gardens look fantastic!

Love your idea! And the color pallet is so soft and sweet. Don't wait to have a rose garden. Start small with 3 or 4 plants. They truly are not as difficult as most people think and it's a good reminder to stop and smell the roses! You will not regret your effort. They share nicely with other flowers if you must plant them in an existing flower bed!

Nice to know someone else loves to get flowers for the yard on Mother's Day. I do the same for Easter and My birthday. Your plants are beautiful.
