Goodbye to Papertrey...

Hi friends.  The June release will be my last month with Papertrey Ink.  I feel a change is needed so I am resigning as a member of the Design Team.  I've really enjoyed working with the products and especially designing new stamp sets.  I've also met some wonderful girls on the Design Team who I now call friends.  Thank you to Nichole, Jane and Julie for everything and for letting me be a part of the journey.  You have been so gracious with your product and I so appreciate the opportunities and friendships made.  And thank you so much to all of you wonderful followers and friends who have been so kind to me over the years.  Your comments, emails, cards and gifts that you've sent me have meant so much.  I wish Papertrey the best of success in the future.

So where do I go from here?  I'll be right here at my blog, continuing my role as a Project Life Creative Team Member, adding new items and kits to my shop, and creating fun new projects to share.  The creative journey continues and I'll be looking forward to any new adventures that come my way.

Sad that you are leaving PTI but happy your blog will continue to inspire. Although I can never emulate your style I love to look at your projects and dream 'maybe one day...' ^_~

Well, I have to say I was very, very sad to read on PTI's blog this morning that you were leaving. Your sets through PTI are some of my all time favorites and many sit on my crafting table at a perminate spot b/c I use them so much. I felt a kinship with your cards and stamp designs b/c they look and feel so much like my style. I think you have amazing talent in general in this industry, most certainly too as a stamp designer. I hope sometime in the future you will design again for stamp sets. But, in the meantime I will follow you as I always have, every day and enjoy and be inspired by your PL layouts (which are always AMAZING), your store and anything you do! I am grateful for you and the things you post on your blog and your time in posting on your blog. Thank you for your ongoing inspiration.

Michelle, I have always loved your work and I will miss seeing your collaborative stamp sets. I hope that you get royalties for them!
I have quietly watched Papertrey over the past several months and while I love the stamps, it has been difficult to support the company. I have a new respect for you for recognizing that change, while difficult, can be a good thing. All the best in your future.

I am so glad you will continue your blog. I absolutely love your cards and use them as creative "fodder" for my cards. Best of luck in what ever you do. You are so creative!

It's a long story, but through your blog I found PTI years ago. Then, after seeing so much inspiration about PL (along with another long story), this year I started PL for the 1st time and LOVE it. Can you believe I am up to date??

You've inspired me for years. My #1 favorite set of yours is Strawberry Patch! I did soooo much with it for end of school teacher gifts. LOVE.

I'll continue to read you here and on twitter :). And, I wish you the very best in your future journey in this industry!

We got to go to CHA at Orlando and meet you and the other PTI ladies and I've followed you ever since. (My daughter's nickname in college was MishMash) You were a big part of what I liked at PTI. I grew up on a farm and I identify with you in that too. I'm also a quilter, and trying to keep up with PL. My husband is doing chemo treatments right now which keeps us busy, but everything looks okay for our family to leave on a cruise next Friday for our 55th wedding anniv. from Montreal-Boston. Blessings, Verona

Waaah! I'm bereft! Seriously, it's your fun and fresh country style that got me buying so many PTI stamps in the first place! If it had your name attached to it (Fr. Jars, Strawberry Patch, etc) then I knew it would be awesome. I'm excited to see what changes are in store for you and your blog, and I'm patiently waiting for you to announce that you're designing your own independent line. :)

I've already been missing you as Sr. DT so now I will continue to miss seeing your wrap up projects. Your Friendship Jar series are some of my favorite stamps. Thanks for all the inspiration. I'll continue to follow your blog as I like seeing your PL. I'm not doing it as it's just my dog and I and we lead a very repetitive life. :) Maybe someday. Thanks again.

Ah Michelle, PTI just wont be the same without your wonderful work. Your blog was always the first one I hit to read over the years. I was always guaranteed an "Ahhhhh" moment as I read about your family, antique shopping or just gazed at your wonderful projects. As a complete beginner to paper crafting I am proud to say I project "lifted" so much of your work to raise many thousands of euros over the years for charity. You have touched so many lives in such a kind and gentle way.
You continue to inspire by grasping the opportunities from change that life brings.
Wishing you continued happiness and joy with your family.
Anne
