Project Life Week of October 16-October 22, 2011

Hi there, hope you are enjoying your weekend. We had basketball games this morning and now we're all in lounge mode. Getting ready for the big KU/Missouri BB game tonight. I'm headed to work on some more Valentines right after this post goes up.

I have another Project Life week from October 2011. You can definitely see it was time for Halloween. I used lots of burnt orange and black on my pages with lots of fun accents from My Mind's Eye.
I completed this page back at the end of 2011 when I was catching up on 17 undone weeks of Project Life! I wanted my pages to be embellished but I also wanted them done rather quickly. I used lots of hand journaling and titles hand written using my Bic Markits markers. Here's my left page.
And the right page.
Title page using Elle's Studio elements + My Mind's Eye chipboard elements + a few handwritten words that encompassed this week.
Fun Halloween colors + a typed sticky note from Studio Calico + a recap of an orthodontist visit marking the girls' progress.
A week in review tag + a small Instax photo. I really need to use that more as those little photos are so dang cute. Note: they don't work well in typewriters, hence the typed label that was stuck on.
More hand written, simple titles with hand journaling. I just had to use that little red headed witch. So cute.
More elements from the My Mind's Eye accents.
A really fun week from one of our favorite times of the year. So fun to look at the memories and photos I captured. I have just a few weeks left from 2011 to post so I'll scatter those in with more current posts.

Now off to make some Valentines. I've been tweeting some sneaks of my Valentines so stay tuned to Twitter. I'll have some of the Valentines up on the blog soon. Any fun plans coming up for Valentine's Day? I need to conjure up something fun for the family.

So the whole Project Life is to capture something for each day? I love seeing what you come up with...very creative. What a treasure for your kids when they are adults. I only have been following you a short time but I love to see your work. Beautiful handwriting too BTW. That seems to be a lost art these days.
