Hi folks, hope you're having a great weekend. Today I have a card to show you using my Friendship Jar. By simply adding the word *got* to my Pickles sentiment, I turned the pickle theme into a fun baby card, perfect for the expecting mother. Or I guess you could send this to someone who really loves pickles too. Or maybe a gardener who has canned a ton of pickles this summer. :)
I used the Friendship Jar set and all the coordinating dies to cut out the jar, the scalloped topper, the label and the jar lid. Pretty nifty, eh? I colored the pickles with my handy dandy Copic markers and then stamped a jar filler image over the top of the pickles so it would look like pickle juice is in the jar. Two Manila Parcel Tags from my Etsy shop form a fun background on the card, using a patterned paper overlay from Library Ledger. An Aqua Mist ribbon is tied around the card front.
Here are the colors I used for the pickles.
