Hey friends. Here's my second round of sketch books that I made. I'm loving the color combo of olive, orange and aqua. My sketch book base is Kraft cardstock, inked with Vintage Cream ink. Patterned papers are by October Afternoon.
The *notes* accent was stamped from Take Note in Ripe Avocado. The circle accent is made from stamps from Take Note too. I punched out the circle with a 1.75" circle punch. Vintage Buttons are tied with Rustic Cream Twine. Ribbon is Aqua Mist Topnotch Twill.
The inside of the sketch books have 10 pages of grid/plain paper. A simple machine stitch down the middle creates the spine of the sketch book.
Hope you're having a great day! Stay tuned for a new kit going up in my Etsy shop soon. It's one of my all time faves....think felt....think doodads. :)

Hi,
Just want you to know that Hilo, HI (meaning my girlfrieds and I just discovered you recently and are in awe of your creativity. Especially the do-dad thing and we went crazy with Valentine do-dads, and now we're into the notebook thing! I personally am looking pretty creative in the eyes of all my recipiants, but shhh, we don't have to tell those who aren't crafters where my inspiration is coming from. Let me just say that everyone is starting to make lists in cute little notebooks created by me (or my buddies). Thank you for ALWAYS sharing from your heart and helping us to keep those creative juices flowing.
i love this color combination! awesome note book idea!! thanks for sharing!
Oooooh, Mish - I got my little kit in the mail today - LOVE!! Wow, you get your orders out fast, girl and as for the US Postal system - who knew they could be so efficient? They must have somehow known it was a very important high priority delivery!! ;-)
I just love these little notebooks and I think I will have to make some for the teachers as we track back in for our last quarter of 2nd grade. These would be fun to make with my Brownie Troop too...and for my daughter's birthday!
Maybe I can use up some of my stash instead of buying new stuff!
I am bummed I didn't get to seethe Granny Kits...they were long gone!
Thanks for your never ending inspiration! I check your blog every morning...and afternoon!
