I was behind by about 3 months, but I've made progress.. I only have 3 weeks to do and I'll be all caught up!! And those cards are super cute!

Hey everyone. Happy Monday! We're winding down our last few weeks before school starts. I have lots going on this week so check back often.

First up, let's talk about Project Life. We're mid-way through the year and I know it gets tough to keep up, especially during the Summer months. I'm looking forward to doing a little catch up myself once the girls start back to school. If you're brand new to Project Life and are wondering if it's for you, this little video will give you a glimpse as to what it's all about. I say YES! Project Life provides a super simple solution to getting our photos into albums. It can be as basic as you want it to be.....or you can fancy up your pages with your own scrapbooking supplies.

Please check Becky's new video here to see what Project Life is all about.

I am also doing a Project Life giveaway today. If your name is selected from my comments section, you'll receive these brand new items from the Project Life lineup:
To enter the contest, please leave a comment on this post telling me how Project Life has changed your way of scrapbooking....or if you're brand new to Project Life, tell me how you think you'll use it. Comments will be closed tomorrow, (Tuesday) August 6th at 9pm Central Time. Good luck!

This week:
Lot to juggle this week but I'm hoping to be back with some fun blog posts. Look for a Project Life update, some new cards, some provoking thoughts, a new kit, some vintage finds and lots of Papertrey stamps and patterned papers for sale. I need some time to organize it all but I'm going to try to fit it all in. Stay tuned & be sure to check my Facebook and Twitter updates for upcoming sales. :)

I believe that Project Life will work for me because I love taking pictures and scrapbooking. I admit I have several years of pictures to scrapbook. I want to do something with these pictures so my son will have them for years and years and be able to share with his family.

I started Project Life this year and so far am loving the awareness it has brought to my life. It is a virtual, living scrapbook of our lifes. Would love to win this.

Last year I mustered up the courage and strength to finally walk out on my 3yr abusive marriage. Having started a new life in another city and having to start all over again, new job, making new friends and meeting a fantastic man that finally treats me like a princess, he recently bought me my first project life kit so I can document my new life with new beginnings so that I finally have something to look back on with a smile and help me forget the last 3yrs!

I plan on starting project life in 2013. I have been gathering my items to start. Project life will give me the opportunity to capture the big and little moments in my families life. I usually don't date all of our special moments but I will soon. Thanks for doing this giveaway.

I am WAY behind but it has certainly been easier than traditional scrapbooking. I love when you show us how you get behind too with tips on catching up! It inspires me to keep going and give up some perfectionist ways on making every layout scrappy.

Carla G. FL- I'm new to Project Life but have always scrapbooked. But now more then ever I have a really sense of duty & obligation to tell our family story, values, & traditions. My two Little boys are going to carry on their grandparents and parents legacy. Project Life makes it that much easier. Without a story we are lost. Thanks for the opportunity.

I love Project Life, I'm getting a lot of pictures printed and out where people can look at them, but (for me) it's not as much of a creative process as it once was and at this point that's ok. The stories are getting without all the pretty extras that in 10, 20, 30 yrs I won't care about anyways.

I've re found how great life is by seeing great moments in my everyday life to take a pic of and document to fill out my double page every week, I'm single and don't have kids to take lots of pics of ;) I absolutely love PL!!!

This is my third year doing Project Life. I love that I am able to keep "caught up" using the little snippets of my life. The kit makes it so easy to slip in a photo or ephemra, jot a little journalling card and you're done!

Mandy said...

Because of the simplicity of PL, I am actually documenting our life instead of thinking about documenting my life.

Just love it. It allows me to keep all my children souvenirs in one place.

Project Life..I've been doing it since Becky first introduced us to the concept. I love how simple it is...and how easy it is to make it your own. I no longer have scrapbookers guilt.... I have my POTD...I have my journal. If I don't get it into the album right away....no big deal. I know how quick it is to catch up. LOVE LOVE LOVE this!!

I haven't tried Project Life yet or any kind of scrapbooking.
I'd love to try the PL method. I think I could finally put some scrapbooks together this way.

I'm new to Project Life and I am loving it!! I have gotten more photos in our book in three weeks than I have in three years since traditional scrapbooking became just too overwhelming for me. PL has combined my love of journal-keeping with our family photos and I couldn't be happier about it!

I'd love some. I have all but stopped Scrapbooking because it has gotten too complicated for me.

I love Project Life and how it allows me to document lots f things that I wouldn't otherwise. But I am trying to balance how to do some traditional scrapbooking as well.

Project Life has completely changed how I document my life. It allows me to stop and appreciate the little, often forgotten about things in life. I know that in the future, I'll be so grateful that I took the time to make this work. There are so many unique day-to-day things that never would get documented in my traditional album.

Thanks for the opportunity.

This is my 4th year to do Project Life. The first year I had to make up my own version as the original version was sold out. The second year I was lucky enough to do a kit and I did it as Picture a Day. Last year I chose to try the digital version, and for 2012 I'm back to the kit. I just love the physical aspect of paper & embellishments for my scrapbooking. Project Life has simplified my take on my memory keeping as a working mom. I would love to add these page protectors to my book! Thanks for the chance!

I did Project Life when Becky came out with it in 2009. I loved completing it and keep it up pretty well. It is fun to look over and remember what we did that year. I am currently not doing it, but would like to try in 2013 and am also thinking of doing a baby album for both of my boys in the future. I have loved looking to see what you do with each one of your weeks! It always makes me wish I was doing Project Life this year. Thanks for the chance!

Jen E said...

This is my first year doing Project Life, but it has really helped me feel like I will have a comprehensive look at our lives instead of an overview of "big" or "fun" stuff. It has also helped with feeling like I am keeping my husband in the loop when he is deployed with the Navy.

Received my very first Project Life kit at the end of 2011. I am using Project Life to chronicle my weight loss journey over the next year or two, as well as the first 15 years of my son's life.

I hope PL will help me scrap more. I have tons of supplies and don't get around to use them. Maybe since the pages are already broken up in 'layouts' for me, it'll make it simmer and faster! Thanks for then chance to win!

I am new to project life. I just recently discovered it and its been pretty out of stock since i did. So i have yet to actually start. But right now im just not getting pictures and things into albums because it takes so long and it seems to always be a huge undertaking. I think PL would simplify and make it so that i am able to get my pictures into books! Thanks for the chance to win!

I have been hesitant about PL. My lifestyle has changed that I started working FT and now have became a manager, which leaves me so little time for traditional scrapbooking. Over the time I have been watching Ali Edward's PL and my heart grew on it. Usually I only do 1 page a day per weekend and that's not much., my plan is to get started with the PL but still to keep going with traditional LOs. I am super excited to start! Thanks for the chance to win.

Before project life I felt alone in my scrap projects but now it's a family affair!

I started Project Life when Becky originally announced it as Project 365. I've done it every year since then. Before PL I had never scrapbooked. I was great at taking pictures, blogging and capturing memories, but never putting them into anything tangible that anyone else could see. Now I have these albums that capture so much of my life. As Becky has expanded her products my albums have expanded too, and my albums are so much richer. I love everything about PL!

I love Project Life! It has changed the way I document life in that I wasn't really doing anything before. My pictures were trapped on my computer. I know that a layout a week isn't in my current season of life, so I am doing a layout a month for each of my girl's books. I often add one insert when we have more events going on, but that is it! It is doable, and I am 'caught up' completely with one kiddo. The other kiddo I am current with but I am working backwards to catch up with her. It is totally doable and I love it. I love that I can make it work for me, hence the month approach. My two year old looks at her book daily. Gotta love that!

Oh, my goodness, Project Life has really changed the way I scrapbook and look at the world. I used to be a hard core, addicted scrapbooker. But, as work and kids started overwhelming me, I got more & more behind on the scrapbooking and almost began to dread taking pictures (one more page that I would be behind!). Now, with Project Life, I can be behind and not feel too stressed about it because I know it doesn't take too long to catch up. LOVE IT! I just gave my niece Project Life for her bridal shower gift that I had for her on Sunday. Thought it was a perfect gift for a soon to be bride!

I have done Project Life for a couple of years now. I used to try to do full layouts chronologically and that just didn't work out for me. I never seemed to be caught up. PL works out perfectly. I load up my page protectors with everyday photos, journaling and a few embellishments every once in a while throughout the year. I still do full 12x12 layouts and sprinkle them in among the pages of my PL album.

Awesome, thank you so much for this giveaway. I love PL!! first year doing it, after being an avid scrapbooker, but life (namely, being a nanny, then moving on to being a wife and mother) kept me from doing it any more. My BF told me about PL and after a year of observing her simple pages, I figured I could do it too. :-) So nice to be "caught up" on photos, my husband likes it too.
