Changes...

Hi everyone. If you've visited Nichole's blog today, you'll have read that there have been some changes at Papertrey. I have decided to step down from my Senior Design Team position for some personal and professional reasons. Maile Belles will be moving into my position and Ashley Cannon Newell will be joining the Papertrey gang as a Release Team member. I will be joining my good friend Debbie Olson in what we nicknamed *Team Lite*. I'm looking forward to have a little more relaxed work schedule and will be posting each month using some of the newly released stamps and products.

I'm also looking forward to spending some more time on some professional and personal goals that I want to attain. I've got some new ideas for my Etsy shop in 2012 plus I have lots of personal crafting and home decor projects that have been set aside far too long. Plus, my little reds are growing up so fast. No more little trick or treaters, no big visions of Santa, no more dolls and toys scattered all about. I've got sweet, young adults now and I want to soak in every fun moment with them that I can before they leave our happy little nest. I've dedicated a lot of time lately to scrapbooking our fun times together and catching up on my Project Life albums.

Soooo, keep watching for my Papertrey projects. Stay tuned for more fun Etsy items in the future. I've also had an exciting and unexpected surprise come my way in the last few days that I will share with you soon.

Thank you for always visiting my blog. Thank you for all the nice comments and support. I'll still be here with lots of fun creations. And a big congratulations to Maile and a warm welcome to Ashley.

So sorry to see you going "lite" at PTI but I completely understand your reasons. I have a freshman in college and a freshman in high school and as we all know, time goes way too fast when our kids get to the teen years. Enjoy your family and I will continue to look forward to your wonderful projects!

I really like your work and I will follow your blog as you move to another design team. I have been so sad to watch the customer service issues at Papertrey and I think it's a good move professionally for you to distance yourself.

I certainly understand your decision to cut back and spend more time with your girls. Time slips by way too fast so cherish every minute you have with them. I will greatly miss you as one of the PTI designers but I'll still be able to follow you on your blog so that makes it okay. I wish you all the best with your new adventures and will miss you. Best of luck.

Wishing you lots of luck, fun and most of all love with your family. I am so happy that you will still be part of the Papertrey family, but in the "liter" way. I always enjoy your blog and esty shop and I'm so very happy that you will have both. Your daughters are beautiful and I think it is wonderful to want to share and be a part of each others lives. Again, best of luck to you and thank you for always sharing and inspiring us.

As an empty nester, I understand your decision to step back a little bit and spend precious time with your family. Your "reds" will be at home only a few more years, and are probably tickled to death to have more "mom time", even if they won't admit it. I'm really glad that you will still contribute to PTI and your blog. Enjoy!

You will never be sorry with your decision of putting your girls/husband first. You will be missed. The PTI design team will not be the same. Good luck to you. I'll still check your blog as you are so inspiring.

Michelle i will miss your gorgeous creations on release day, but that said having teens a couple of years older than yours i know where you are coming from. I loved them when they were babies and toddlers but you know what i love them even more now as adults (19 & 17, the conversations we have, the meal times, going out its just ..cant describe it but i love it and cherish nearly every moment as i realise that they may not be at home for many more years. So enjoy your time and treasure every minute.
