Happy Saturday everyone! We're officially on Spring Break and I'm looking forward to having no where to go and all day to get there! I love that saying, don't you? My family is out on a short drive looking for turkeys...the season is coming soon. I'm so glad to have my hubby home for the weekend. He's been working like a dog and he deserves some time off!! So today I have a short post for you and then I'm enjoying my weekend with my family.
Easter will be here soon and I love to send out cards and have a little stash for my mom to pick from too, so little by little I'm making a few cards. Today I used Pine's set called Beyond Basic Borders to create an Easter tree of springy colors. I accented my card with an Easter sentiment from the Tags for Spring set, a scallop from Beyond Basic Borders and *just for you* sentiment from the Around and About set. I also used some Plum Pudding Swiss Dot and Aqua Mist Twill ribbon and a button from my stash.
I hope you all have a great weekend everyone! Take some time to spend with your loved ones and just enjoy your moments together. I've got some fun projects happening in my stamp room.....just one of those weekends where you stroll into your stamp room and dabble a little here and there. Fun stuff!!
Also, be sure to check out the Papertrey forum tonight for the March Release countdown party. I'll pop in to say hi and see what everyone is up to! 9pm Central Time!!

I haven't made ONE Easter card yet, Michelle - but I have the Tags for Spring set and will get crackin' this weekend! Enjoy your family time - wooooooooooo Spring Break is comin' for us too...a week later. Love that you used the Plum Pudding with some lighter colors...I thought it would be too dark for Easter cards but not when paired with the right stuff ;)
Mish,
I so love all your wonderful ideas and creations! God has blessed you with such talent. I am bad about taking the time to leave comments so thought I would quickly do so this morning. Keep up the good work and many many thanks for sharing your beautiful ideas with us! Have a very wonderful and blessed spring break.

Happy saturday Mish! Sweet card as always. Had to tell a quick story about the turkeys...my hubby always has a call in his truck and to the delight of my girls will stop at several known areas near our house to call the turkeys anytime we drive by. You have never heard my children so quiet as when they are listening for the turkeys. LOL it's shocking really!
That tree is so cute. Love the colors you used. Like the little bling under the greeting. Have a super weekend.
Love it, love it!!
Ooh, this is lovely Michelle. I love the colours you've used and as someone else said you would think that plum would be too dark, but used with the right colours it looks fab :o) TFS
Oh I LOVE this - such a cool card! :)
