What am I?

Edited: Thought you might like to see the BLOG BOOTY for tomorrow!! I'll be picking the winner from THIS post so get your guesses in, my wonderful peeps. This wonderful prize package(insert Vanna White gestures) includes TWO Rubber Soul stamp sets, FOUR types of Copic markers with a carry case, ribbons, paper and fun confetti to sprinkle in cards. I love to picture the mess it makes when people open up a card and all that stuff falls out! LOL!! By the way, love the guesses.....especially the one about the heat gun holder. Wrong answer, but GRRRREAT idea!! Hmmmm....... When you first look at these three photos together, you're going to wonder what the heck is going on!! Well the other day, my UPS man brought a package that I was expecting from my sister. And I knew she had been shopping at our favorite place, Nell Hills. So I knew it was going to be good!

She knows I love birds, so she bought me this vintage bird print with the cute egg. I can't wait to hang it up!! This one was easy.
Now the next thing I pulled out of the box was this thing. About this time my sister called and asked, *Do you love it?* I excitedly replied *Yes!!* Then she asked *Do you know what it is?* I had to laugh and reply, *No, I have no idea!!*
Then after she told me what that thing above was, I was VERY excited. What a fun *thing* to have. I will use it for probably every season. But in the meantime, my tortilla wrap was on the stove warming up. Needless to say, I got so excited about my package that I kinda forgot about my lunch. Until the smoke poured into the kitchen. And the smell got really bad. I burned my lunch!!! Oh well I thought, I dumped it in the trash and just thought about my fun gifts again!!
Soooooooooo.....you know it's my one year blog anniversary.......ya ya I've mentioned that already, right? Well tomorrow I'll be drawing for the first winner of a fun prize! And I'll be picking the winner from THIS post. All you have to do is guess what that *thing* is in the middle photo. No hints, you just have to guess. Even if you think the answer has already been posted, post your answer even if it's the same. I'll pick one random reply to this post. Good luck!!

Congratulations on your one year. I remember when you started a year ago. You've been an inspiration to me all year!
My guess: a seasonal flag holder.
Whatever it is, it's sure cute!

Is it a lantern holder? Some sort of light. I can't even imagine. I can see you hanging all kinds of neat things on it so I'm excited! Love you Mishie!

My guess is that it is the base for a seasonal picture that can be changed out. Happy Anniversary!

Happy anniversary! So glad I found your blog!
My guess is Julie is right on the wreath hanger, but it also looks rather like a holder for fireplace tools.

Congrats on the Blogaversary! Its a wreath hanger, the wreath hangs from the hook and attaches to the hook in the back to prevent it from blowing off should you choose to display it outside.

It's a wreath STAND...

Donna Baker said...

I hope that wasn't your last 'wrap' and you still got to eat. I think it's an ornament holder. You like to decorate your table with seasonal stuff so you can hang a lot of different things from it. It really suits your 'style'

Congratulation on your one year here on the blog! I think the object in question is a wreath hanger!

Dee in Oklahoma said...

Oh, it has to be a wreath holder..the unit looks heavy, so it would hold a wreath without a hitch.
Did ya get another wrap heated and eaten?
What a sweet sis you have.

I'm going with wreath holder, too. I am curious about the small ring, though. Perhaps it hold a little sign of some sort?

That cute bird picture has a loop at the top - so the "thing" is a holder for the picture.

I dont know what it is, but it looks like it would make a great holder for an embossing gun :)

It's a wreath hanger. Looks very cute on a table with a mirror hanging behind it...like in your front entry way. Enjoy!

Without reading other posts and by your description of using it for every season - I would guess it is a wreath hanger although I have to admit - the first thought that ran through my head was that maybe it was something used many years ago to leave a note on for the milkman!! Now, wouldn't that be handy!!! :) Sorry about your lunch, but I'm glad to hear I not the only person to forget about things on the stove!!!! ;)

I'm thinking it's for hanging a flag for the different seasons/holidays. that bird print is adorable. You sure have a very nice sister :o)

I don't know, but, your sister is so good to you Mish!

Sorry about your lunch, LOL, but presents are usually better than eating anyway!

Hi Mish, I believe it's a wreath hanger. And I just love your bird print. I love birdhouses and nests and all things "birdie". Happy one year anniversary!

I love your gift. I've wanted a wreath hanger for a long time now because all my walls are pretty well full. That's what it looks like to me. Hope you enjoy it!

Happy Blog Anniversary!

I believe it's a thing to hang a wreath on. Congrats on one year! Your projects and designs are awesome!

I think it's for hanging a candle holder. It definitely looks antique.

I've been 'googling' for a while now. It could be a wreath holder/hanger but none of the ones I saw had that eyelet thing. I'm dying to know what that is. Congratulations and thanks for your blog.

At first I thought it was a lantern holder, but I think it might be a wreath holder and that would be super cool!

Ooh very nice! It's a wreath stand - will you put it on your hearth? Thanks for the chance to win!

Congratulations on your one year blog anniversary! My guess also is that it's a free-standing wreath holder.

Well my guess is a lantern holder?

As a lot of others have said. . .guess it's a wreath hanger. I would have hung a cool looking ornament on it. . .something with dangling beads and such. You'll do something beautiful with it I'm sure. I love seeing how you decorate around your home. It's all so charming and homey. Keep showing us more pics of your decorating!

You're going to love this: I called my husband over to look at the picture. He puffed his chest out, crossed his arms and announced "It's a coat rack, of course!" Ummm, ok honey, but how small are the coats??? LOL! Anyway, I'm guessing it's a really beautiful and sturdy wreath holder. Thanks for the fun and laughs!! (and creative inspiration)

Is it some kind of vase holder? Where you can change out the flowers or something? Hmm...stumped! Love your inspiration everyday! lisa k

It's a Wreath Hanger to display small wreaths.
It is quite popular, I think. Anyway, this is my quess...and I'm sticking to it.

My first thought was a miniature hat rack! But then, what is that loopy thing for??? Hmmmm. . . . perhaps I need to go back to the drawing board. Congrats on the anniversary!
