Here are some more of our advent tags we made. We still have four more to do...the girls and I are determined to get them all done yet this year so that next Christmas we'll have a full set. It's been a fun little project..so much so that I think I'll compile a Valentine project for the girls to work on. Tag 4 is made from the little Lockhart snowmen family and colored with Copic markers. Tag 23 is made with the Crafty Secrets Vintage Santa.
Tag 19 uses a Lockhart Santa and the *ho ho ho* sentiment. For the numbers, we used chipboard and painted it with Tim Holtz crackle paint. Cool stuff!!
Tag 10 was made by Josey and uses the Lockhart kitty stocking. Didn't she do a great job coloring the stamp and assembling the tag elements? For the numbers she used Ranger Crackle Accents.
Tag 20 uses a little pencil tree from Rubber Soul. I used Ranger Glossy Accents on the star and the little ornament. I love that little tree!

Tag 9 uses the Rubber Soul carolers. I love the colors in the plaid paper. It was so fun to do pink on a Christmas tag. This is one of my favorite tags.
I have to say this was probably one of the most fun things we did together this holiday season. Every day after school, the girls would rush to the advent box to see if I had made another tag...and of course to see what goodies were inside their advent box. We would sit in front of the fire and talk about their day and what the holidays mean to us. It's so fun to create memories together with my family like this. We're going to sign the back of the tags so we'll know who made which ones. And the advent box will definitely come out again next year. I'll show you all the entire tag ring once we finish out last tags.

That's a really neat idea - all of them are SO pretty! Wonderful idea to do these with your children - too late for me (being an empty nester), but I do hope other Moms take advantage of this idea.
These are so cute. Tell you daughters they did a wonderful job on their tags. So pretty! :)
Those are gorgeous!!! Lovely idea!!
I just got my "Cards" magazine and saw your cute baby cakes card inside! The first thing I did was open to the contents page and saw the cute cupcake teaser and opened right away to page 95 and ta da... there you were! Too cute!
You and your girls did a great job on the tags, love them!
EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT!!
Michelle, I cannot get over what a fabulous project this is. I know that you will treasure it forever...thinking about making it together. It's perfect!
I've got to tell you, I check your blog every day. (and not to put the pressure on :)-but when something new isn't there, I go- oh darn!) It brings much joy! I decorate my home much like I have seen in some of your photos, so I know we are kindred souls. Please know how much your creations and the things you share mean to me. Thanks for the fun in 2007!
You girls did a fantastic job! Josey, tag #10 is so cute and nicely done. What a wonderful project sure to bring fond memories in years to come. Thank you for sharing with all of us.
This is a great idea that I would love to do, you'll have to post them all so I can CASE it. It's a great idea and I love the way you involved your kids, great job!

Michelle,
I absolutely love this idea ... best Christmas idea out there IMHO :-) I'm wondering what size you made each tag and also if you just used cardstock or chipboard? I have to do this!! I'm sure that our boys would love the idea of prizes :-))
Thanks for your inspiration.
