Here's an idea: tag thank you notes

Wow, I have lots of new projects just waiting to be blogged. It's amazing what a little downtime can do you for. Enjoy it while it lasts, who knows when the next big event will happen around our house.

In the meantime I'm going to be featuring some short blog posts titled "here's an idea". They'll feature a few photos of something fun....maybe a crafty projects, a unique use for a vintage find, a fun recipe, etc. I have lots of ideas brewing but nothing too earth shattering or worth a huge, long post. So here we go.

Quick & easy thank you notes. I've used my XL Manila Parcel Tags, some Smash tablet pages, Studio Calico stamps and a fun plaid from October Afternoon's 9 to 5 Collection. I purchased nearly all the elements from this OA line so I'm just leaving it out on my work table for a while. I decided not to use the Washi once my projects were finished.
Simply stamp some sentiments on the Smash pages, leaving room for the thank you note. I added a strip of OA patterned paper across the top and stitched, assembly line style with my sewing machine.
I finished all of these tags in about 10 minutes. These are for Josey's friends who nearly all brought her a gift for her birthday bash. Totally unexpected so thank you notes were definitely in order.
The tags tuck nicely into my Medium Glassine Sacks. Quick and easy but with a nice handmade touch that all of our local friends have come to expect from our family.
Have a great day everyone! I'll be back soon with some Project Life updates and a few other fun items.
