This week I used a color scheme of Kraft, cream and gray which really coordinated well with my photos. I used lots of products from My Minds Eye Everyday Fun collection + items from a monthly Studio Calico kit.
A fun week full of school events, ballgames and lots of family time. I love that I'm capturing lots of photos of the girls' friends. Those are some of my most treasured photos from when I got my first camera in grade school. The kind of camera where you had to use your thumb to progress the film....wow, we've come a long way in technology.
I love this main, dated insert. It combines my handwriting + Kraft accents + canvas pieces along machine stitching.
Here I used a chipboard number to create a simple journaling card. I love to integrate my handwriting in with purchased accents.
Here's another week in review journaling card. A lot of you liked this idea and I'm happy to hear I could give you a good tip to use in your PL albums.
Here I cut an Instagram photo in half and used them in 2 journaling slots. Just a fun way to get more photos in for this week.
A few My Minds Eye accents + a label that I ran through my typewriter. For small labels, sticky notes, etc I just run the piece through my typewriter if it's large enough....or for smaller pieces I adhere them with temporary adhesive to a piece of copy paper and then run that whole sheet through my typewriter.
This week I have a few extra school photos of the girls that I didn't get around to adding into extra page protector inserts. I simply slip these into a page protector along with a few accents that I want to use. I'll come back to these pages at a later date. At least they are in the right spot with a few embellishments and a sticky note of what I plan to do.
That's it for another week from 2011. As I'm working on the first week of January's Project Life, I'm snapping a few photos as I go along. I'll be sure to post those when I post those pages so you can get an idea of how I go about doing a weekly layout. I'll have that layout up as soon as I get it completed.
Shop Update:
Thank you so much for the wonderful response to my new Made by Mish shop. All orders are being sent out today. I have a big re-stock of sacks so for those who inquired I'll have more within a week or so. Also for those who asked, I plan to keep my Etsy shop open as I transition everything to the new store front. There are still some items that you can shop for there too.
On the list for today:
Trying to stay warm. It's 17 degrees with a wind chill of 1! I'm also wrapping up my Papertrey projects for this month's release so look for a post on the 15th. A run to the post office then I'm back in the Craft Department for a little tidying up....and then it's Project Life time. Hope your day is warm and cozy, friends.

I keep meaning to ask you this...how many project life albums do you have for 2011? I have three, it worked out that I needed a new one every four months. Love the layout again, I especially love the awesome title card. Thanks for sharing.
Would you be able to put a mixed colour pack of the chevron bags for sale?
This is my first attempt at Project Life and I'm already going strong. Thanks for your advice, tips, photos, etc. I loved your post showing various "weeks in review" journaling spots. Could you maybe do the same type of post for your title cards? It's only the 2nd week but I think this may be where I will struggle a bit since I will want to "pretty up" this card. A big thanks again for sharing and encouraging!
Hi Mish, I'm not doing Project Life, but I love your introduction of the Bic Mark-its for your albums. After reading your post the other day, would you believe I found some in the Supermarket here in Australia? They were in a back-to-school markdown bin, so a grabbed a couple packs. They didn't have the nice brown or grey that you used, but I picked up a pack of brights and pastels. Thanks for the idea, I would never have thought to incorporate these into my scrapbooking!
Keep up the fantastic inspiration. M x
