Hanna Stamps Give Away!!!!!!!

First of all I'd like to thank you all for keeping my mom and I in your thoughts and prayers. My mom had to have a stint put in a 90% blocked artery! She will be home later today and needs lots of rest and TLC!

Secondly, let's talk weather.........it's FREEZING here in Kansas! I am definitely not a cold weather fan so I'm a little grumpy about it! But the cold weather season does enable us to create fun wintry cards though right? Today's card features Hanna from the set Tis the Season. I used Copic markers to color the images then airbrushed the stars for a pretty blue blow. The starts are twinkling with Stickles. I wanted more of my patterned paper to show through so I cut a semi-circle out of the main image with a plain Spellbinder's Circle Die Template. Then I added a Spellbinder's cut circle and stamped and airbrushed the big snowflake. This is adhered to the card front with SU! dimensionals slightly off center. Hanna's skirt is also paper pierced from the same Basic Grey Figgy Pudding patterned paper. The strings for the stars are hand drawn.

So who would like a FREE Hanna stamp set? The two sentiments below are from a brand new all sentiment set called Things Hanna Would Say. You could be a lucky winner of this not yet released stamp set. Check out Kristi's blog HERE for more details and be sure to visit the other Hanna Stamps Designer Team blogs.......we're all giving away a FREE stamp set!!

To enter for the drawing, which will be held on Sunday, please reply to this post with an answer to the following question: What do you do AFTER Thanksgiving dinner? Do you nap? Play games? Go for a hay rack ride? Head off to another dinner that you're too full to even think about? I know for us, we'll not be having a Thanksgiving dinner on my family's side. My mom needs her rest and having her home and recovering is what I'm really thankful for this year. Have a great holiday, eat some turkey for me and be safe travelling!

Well, we do the dishes (yes, its got to be done...). Once they are put away we play a game of cards. This year we had a "lego" thanksgiving day float contest, so we had to judge the three floats. The winner was "A tribute to Habitat for Humanity." (It was a partially built house with workers around it! --janet d.

My hubby and I do dishes and then take a nap. Later my girlfriend and niece look through the ads to see if there is thing worth getting up and 4 am for . Glad you mom will be home speedy recovery to her.

After Thanksgiving, we clean up, watch a little football (not my favorite thing), rest to gather energy to eat some more.

I am thankful that we live near our grandchildren and see their sweet faces at our Thanksgiving dinner table each year.

What a great blog candy offer. I can't wait to see what Hanna has to say. Thanks so much for sharing.

You're from Kansas??? I'm in KC! Only on the MO side!! We don't really have any specific traditions other than the traditional holiday meal. Sometime we travel home to see our extended family (northern Iowa) and sometimes we just stay here. My son has not been well since Sept. so we opted to stay here. I did get out the china and fixed the whole meal myself. My daughter said it was the best thanksgiving we've ever had! I'm thankful for my family!!!

I also hate the cold weather! Requires too many layers of clothing and socks! Just means more laundry! LOL After Thanksgiving dinner has been eaten, we all sit around the large table and play catch-up on what everyone has been doing. We only get together about 2-3 times a year, so there is lots to talk about. Thank you for the opportunity to win this prize!

After dinner we would just be lazy and sit around and talk or watch a movie.

I love to sleep in!! I'm not a 4am in the morning person to hit the sales. I'll stay home with family, make some cookies, then go surfing for online sales.

After we are all stuffed...my sisters and i along with our mom talk about life when we were all young. The men head downstairs to play playstation.

Anonymous said...

After Thanksgiving dinner, we ususally draw names for Christmas and then have our infamous photo shoot....."trying" to get all the grandkids to stay still for a few minutes of picture taking!!! Otherwise, we sit around and visit and munch on dips and sip magaritas!!!

Thanksgiving is the only holiday when our whole family can be together. We come from Pennsylvania and new York to my Sister & Brother-in-law's home in New Jersey. We have drinks and snacks and watch football before the dinner...then after we eat dinner, we watch more football games...until Ugly Betty & Grey's come on. We talk non-stop for 3 days. It's my favorite time of the year.
Great stamps-

Happy Thanksgiving!! One tradition that we have is after the dinner is served, the girls and kids all bundle up and go for a long walk, leaving the guys on clean up duty. By the time we're back all is clean and we're ready to be served cocoa, mulled cider and dessert by our domestic dh's ;)

Sorry to hear about your Mom, hope she is getting well. No naps here, ever, unfortunately. We play cards, games, watch movies, pick name for Christmas and eat some more>

The holidays is a time where I try to take advantage of spending time with my family. I am off of school and so are the kids. This is a rare thing for us. So when it happens I have to make sure to make every second count. My poor husband only gets the time in during his time out of work. But in the end it is all special. I hope everyone is blessed with this precious time with their family.

I usually cook on Thanksgiving and we open our house to any of our family, friends, (and extended family and friends)that wouldn't otherwise have a place to go. Some years we have a houseful and some years there's only 10-12 people. We do the same thing on Christmas eve.
