And Mt. Rushmore and the Crazy Horse monument are awe-inspiring. I think every American should visit Mt. Rushmore. You should also try to visit The Badlands and Wall, SD. Have fun!LaurieJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05470679716074987855noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-411939643357638479.post-24623756553551479012011-07-19T15:55:01.985-05:002011-07-19T15:55:01.985-05:00Mish--talk about a walk down memory lane--I grew u...Mish--talk about a walk down memory lane--I grew up in Western Nebraska (Scottsbluff to be exact) and for many years, we vacationed in the Black Hills. We camped near a lake--I think it was called Center Lake--and we visited Mt. Rushmore every year. I remember being on the Needles Highway and there is a rock formation called The Eye of a Needle, I believe, which literally looks like the eye of a needle. I loved that whole area as a kid--hope you have a fabulous trip!Cyndihttp://ccoppom@comcast.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-411939643357638479.post-49771673758409553302011-07-19T15:39:42.635-05:002011-07-19T15:39:42.635-05:00Cute card and tags!
